Our Privacy Policy

What data do we save:

• We use only your email as an identifier.
• With this email we create a LiteLLM user and create a key.

Other:

• We do not save any data you send in your request, like prompts, or any other message.
• LiteLLM just saves the amount of tokens you used for the request and how much they cost. We use this information to create anonymous user statistics.

Privacy Policies of the API providers

As we are only the middleman between you and the providers of the large language models (except for the few self-hosted models), the privacy of your data is not fully in our control. However, we are doing our best to disable and prevent data collection and retention, by setting the settings to maximum privacy and contacting each provider, asking not to store our data.

We have contacted Anthropic, requesting our data not be stored. Their response said the data not being saved, but they do keep the right to save prompts that violate their policy.
