This project aims to monitor the moisture level of a plant to prevent both dehydration and overhydration.
Through the use of a capacitive soil sensor we can measure the humidity/moisture level in the plant’s soil and present it in a real-time custom dashboard. That way, we can also set up automatic notifications to water the plants when needed.
The big advantage of a capacitive vs a conductive sensor is, that the capacitive one doesn’t corrode.
